AP836A Overview

The AP836A HP 2GB SATA 3GBPS StorageWorks FC Raid Controller Card is a storage controller designed for use in HP servers and workstations. It connects the host system to Fibre Channel storage and data center fabrics. It is based on the PCI-E 2.0 interface and supports data transfer rates of up to 3 Gbps SATA. The controller also includes 2 GB of cache memory, which can be used to accelerate read and write operations.
