The Samsung PM1735a 3.2TB PCIe 4.0 x8 NVMe Mixed Use Solid State Drive (Model MZ-WLR3T2B) is a high-performance enterprise SSD engineered to meet the demanding needs of data centers, servers, and mixed-workload applications that require both high throughput and strong reliability. Based on Samsung’s PM1735a platform, this drive uses a PCI Express 4.0 x8 interface with the NVMe protocol to tap into Gen4 bandwidth, delivering sequential read speeds up to ~8,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to ~3,800 MB/s, enabling rapid transfer of large files and accelerated processing of data-intensive tasks. It also supports very high random I/O performance — up to about 1,500,000 IOPS for reads and 250,000 IOPS for writes — which significantly improves responsiveness in heavy multitasking, virtualization.
