This  HPE X140 40G QSFP+ Lc LR4 SM 10KM 1310NM Transceiver is a network transceiver module used to transmit and receive data at high speeds over long distances. This transceiver is designed to operate at a speed of 40Gbps and has a 40G QSFP+ form factor. It uses LC connectors to connect to the fiber optic cables and has a Long Reach (LR) transmission range of up to 10 kilometers.  It operates at a wavelength of 1310nm and is designed to work with Single-Mode (SM) fiber optic cables.
