The HP PLRXPL-VC-SH4-2H is a high-performance 8Gbps 8GBase-SR Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver module engineered for use in HP StorageWorks storage area networks (SANs) and compatible networking equipment. It is optimized for short-distance, high-speed data transmission over multi-mode fiber (MMF), making it ideal for data center and enterprise storage connectivity.Operating at an 850nm wavelength, this module utilizes a duplex LC connector and supports link lengths of up to 150 meters on OM4 fiber (and up to 125 meters on OM3), ensuring reliable and efficient communication between storage and networking devices. Built to comply with SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards and Fibre Channel specifications, it offers seamless interoperability with a wide range of HP and industry-standard networking hardware.
