ASR-72405 Overview
The ASR-72405 is a RAID controller manufactured by Adaptec. It is designed for use with servers and workstations and is capable of supporting up to 256 SAS or SATA hard drives. It features a 1GB DDR3 cache memory and has a 6 Gbps SAS/SATA interface. It has PCI-E 2.0 x8 interface and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60. It also supports Adaptec’s advanced data protection features such as RAID Advanced Data Protection, RAID Advanced Data Streaming and RAID Advanced Capacity Expansion.
