The Cisco DS-SFP-FC64G-SW is a high-performance 64Gb/s Fibre Channel shortwave transceiver designed for next-generation storage area networks (SANs). Operating over multi-mode fiber (MMF), it supports distances up to 100m on OM4 and 70m on OM3, while extended performance can reach up to 410m depending on fiber type and quality.This module uses an 850nm VCSEL laser and features a duplex LC optical connector, ensuring efficient, low-latency, and reliable transmission for mission-critical enterprise storage, backup, and high-speed data replication.It is hot-swappable, allowing easy installation, upgrades, and replacements without downtime.
