The Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540-T2 streamlines migration to 10 Gigabit Ethernet to offer efficient Virtualization, FCoE, iSCSI and Flexible Port Partitioning. This network interface adapter hosts the Intel® Ethernet Controller X540, which acts as a single chip solution for LAN on Motherboard to drive 10 GbE on your server platform. Working with legacy GbE switches, it enables auto-negotiation between 1 GbE and 10 GbE for smooth and easy transition to 10 GbE. This plug-in card, with support for CAT6 and CAT6a cabling, can leverage the existing cabling in your data center for quick and easy deployment.
